Periodontist

Dr Emil Langenegger started the practice in 2010. He ensures that patients get the most comprehensive coverage and exposure to the latest local and international treatment techniques. For him, the best way to serve patients is to constantly be at the forefront of current technology and materials, ensuring that the latest treatments are always available to patients.

Emil completed his undergraduate dental training at the University of Stellenbosch in 2002. After qualifying as a dentist, he completed numerous Post Graduate diplomas before specialising in Oral Medicine and Periodontics at the University of Pretoria in 2009. In 2010, he established an initial Periodontal Practice based in Newlands.

Dr Langenegger is a Fellow of the International Team for Dental Implantology (ITI) and a member of the South African Academy of Aesthetics. He is also a member of various other local and international dental societies that keep abreast of the latest developments and contribute to the field of periodontics and oral medicine. He regularly lectures in the field of Periodontology and Dental implantology on various platforms and often organizes study clubs for dentists.

Dr Langenegger is passionate about obtaining predictable dental implantology treatment results and maintaining his patient’s periodontal health with the best possible care. He considers it vital to assess and treat each patient as individuals and to utilise dentistry solutions unique to their specific oral needs.
